And your ears shall hear a word behind you saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.   Isaiah 30:21 ESV

This is a word that Isaiah gave to Israel, but it is a promise for us as well.  God speaks to us through His word, His creation, through fellow believers, and through His Holy Spirit.  But am I slowing down to listen?  This world bombards my ears with many things that distract me from the Voice I need to hear. 

Prayer:

Father God, give us ears that are open and attentive to You today.  Help us to be intentional about tuning out the “wordly” noise and to focus on what You long for us to hear.  We sit at Your feet in this morning hour in quiet expectation.   Thank You that You desire to communicate with us, the sheep of Your pasture.   Lead and guide us today.  Thank You for Your glorious Presence and that we are never alone.
