Live in the moment because God is working in your life right now!  Worrying about your future distracts you from what you need to do today for the Lord and also robs you of joy that He has graciously provided to you.  What are your worries today?  Pray to your Lord and Savior for the strength to turn away from worry.  Believe that the Lord will take care of His children, because He will!

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for being my Provider, my Alpha and Omega, and my Advocate.  I lay my worries at your feet and ask for your strength to keep my focus on you and your word.  I ask for the Holy Spirit to speak to me and redirect my thoughts today when I begin to worry.  I believe that you are the Almighty One, who will provide for my needs each day.  I ask that you lay your hands upon  __________________ (fill in the blank with your worry/worries) and resolve the issues I worry about.  I give these concerns to you because I know you love me. Lord, I thank you for your amazing grace.
