Therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and dearly loved, put on compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience, bearing with one another and forgiving one another if anyone has a grievance against another. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you are also to forgive. Above all, put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity. Colossians 3:12-14 (CSB)

How do you show others compassion, kindness, gentleness or patience? As you show these acts of kindness are you able to do so with humility? Think of a time you have forgiven someone through love and the knowledge that Christ has forgiven you of your sins? How did it make you feel?

Dear Lord,

Thank you for forgiving my sins through the death and resurrection of your Son, Jesus Christ. Please give me the same ability to forgive others. Show me the way to show love when I am feeling I have been wronged. Help me find the right words to bring the situation to light and discover together and way to solve it. I will practice kindness, gentleness and patience in this situation and ask that you stand beside me as I show the love of Christ.
